Guest
Hi! I am using Affinity Photo on macOS Big Sur 11.6 hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) is ON When developing big RAW images, typically after applying Basic / Lens / Details effects, when painting an overlay using either the trackpad or an external mouse, the coordinates seem to be turned around and the overlay gets drawn in a totally different place than where the curor is actually drawing them on screen. (See Screenshot1).
Staff MEB Posted October 7, 2021 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2021 Hi @miss_c, Do you mind attaching one of the RAW files to see if we can replicate the issue here please? Is this happening with all RAW files or just the ones from a specific camera? If you go to menu View > Reset Rotation does the app flip the image? Thank you. Guest
Hi MEB I am editing photographs taken with the SONY A7RIII only. It does not happen every time. Often if I cancel the raw develop and try again, it does not do it. I will try to Reset Rotation and let you know if it solves the issue. Thanks, _CAM3321.ARW
Staff MEB Posted October 7, 2021 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2021 Reseting the View may not fix the problem, but could indicate some issue with the metadata. If you are saying that within the same file sometimes it happens, other times it doesn't then something else/weird seems to be going on. Thanks for the file.
