allenbham
I tried to post a question about how to convert a pixel selection to a vector shape, but it's not getting approved by the moderators. Barbarafug
Paul Bravery
Hi Allen, Welcome to the forum. :) I'm not sure what you mean by "approved by the moderators". Your post appears perfectly to me: In answer to your question, as far as I know, the "Convert to Paths" from a pixel selection is not part of the Affinity Photo feature set. You can post it as a Feature Request, if it has not already been requested. Hope this helps. Paul.
Staff MEB Posted November 19, 2015 Staff Share Posted November 19, 2015 Hello allenbham, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) This is already planned for later. Currently you can only do the opposite, convert a path to a selection. allenbham 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Dave Harris
The first forum post by new a user need to be approved before it becomes visible, to reduce the amount of spam posts we get. We usually approve quickly, but this time not quick enough. Now you're approved this shouldn't be an issue for your future posts. peter, allenbham and MacGueurle
allenbham
Thank you, everybody! I realized late at night (in my time zone) that most of the people who would approve my post would be in Europe i think, right? Sorry for whining about not finding my question on here fast enough -- everyone needs to sleep! (what, you mean the world doesn't revolve around the East Coast of the United States?) <---[laughing at myself] peter and william7
Dale
Thanks for bringing to our attention that some Affinity dev and support staff were sleeping, this laziness means starting a disciplinary procedure. I was writing some articles and took my eye off the forum, apologies. We'll work on this, our standards are very high :) MacGueurle, allenbham, william7 and 2 others 5 Quote Twitter: @Writer_DaleAffinity apps run on: Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB RAM, GTX1650 Super
