It seems that this issue is with files that are over 20 MB size because other smaller older files can be opened without Affinity Designer crashing. I try to open the attached file. AD crashes almost immediately. I tried to find a report, see it attached to my message too. Use DDU (https://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU v18.0.4.4.exe) to uninstall to ensure that all old driver files are deleted. Filmator Posted October 6, 2021 Share Posted October 6, 2021 Thank you @Komatös and @SPaceBar. I spent some time uninstalling and updating drivers, I used DDU as recommended. The file still crashes Designer. I tried to open the file with iPad. This worked, so I saved the file as a new one. Then I successfully opened the "new" file on the desktop computer. Type sfc /scannow in the new Window and press Enter.
