Can a plug in be made non destructive in Affinity Photo? I tried ON1 2021 in Affinity and I was able to use it as a plug in but once I pressed "done" in ON1 the processing was baked into the photo in Affinity. I believe I saw a video using PS that they were able to make the plug in (I think they did use ON1) non destructive using smart objects before activating ON1. Is there any way to do this in Affinity?

Thanks for any help!

Not to my knowledge.

The usual suggestion as a workaround is to make a copy of the layer before using the plugin.

Not so much a suggested workaround as an essential workflow for using plugins.
