I've tried to install the latest update three times and nothing happens. Every time I open Publisher I get a popup saying there is a new version. I click on the update button and nothing happens. I am on an M1 MacBook Air.

If you purchased directly from Serif, you can download the update manually from https://store.serif.com/en-gb/update/macos/publisher/1/. If you purchased from the App Store you could go there to update it.

Download a free manual for Publisher 2.4 from this forum - expanded 300-page PDF

My system: Affinity 2.4.2 for macOS Sonoma 14.4.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)

Hi @Ryan700 I've just had this message on my M1 MacBook Pro. When I clicked the Install Update button it didn't look like it did anything but it started downloading behind the splash screen. Then when I closed the update window it asked if I want to "Install and Relaunch". If I close the app and reboot it the Install Update button is back again.

Is it possible that yours started downloading behind another window? If this isn't happening for you I would follow the advice from @MikeTO above.

Right after I posted this I opened Publisher and the update installed right away. So all is good.

You clearly missed the crucial step of posting about it here! ;)
