I just wanted to place my vote for a true 3D module included in the Affinity Suite. To be able to import scanned 3D images and industry standard formats for CAD-CAM such as STEP/STP, IGES, DXF, and DWG as well as a proposed Native Affinity 3D format that makes it easy to transfer from 3D to 2D while retaining perspective and applied effects for further enhancement across the Affinity Suite. I would also make sure of the ability to cleanly export to external applications for 3D printing or milling of tangible models as an aid for ideation, props, or display, which means export to formats like STL, OBJ, AMF, and 3MF in addition to those earlier mentioned.

As a person of humble means I currently use a combination of FreeCAD (3D Parametric Modeller) for precision and importing ideas that start with Affinity into  Blender (modelling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, video editing and 2D animation) or later exporting back into Affinity for prettification not possible in Blender.

Now begins my developing a workflow for smoothly working with FreeCAD, Blender, and Affinity Suite.
