Bengie PR Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Hi friends! Years ago I designed and did a huge newspaper project from pasteup to digital with quark press we’re I designed style sheets and gave the reporters tags like; @FullTitle @bynamestyle and when I imported the text as tags (an option in quarkxpress) the imported text automatically applied the style sheet name to each tag which was a SUPER time saving in designing pages. can I do the same with Publisher? thank you! quark tags info here: https://www.quark.com/documentation/quarkxpress/2019/english/A Guide to XPress Tags 2019/_3b8f20ab-d6f5-4c42-a4bc-56ae38fc1d4e.html Quote

No. You can do as I do and have tags in the text and then search and replace the tags with Paragraph and Character Styles. You can also search and replace for the styles from the Word DOCX file that your reporter will give you. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
