I want to learn how to do this: I draw an arbitrary line; I set this line as the path on which I draw objects; I place an object at the beginning and end of this line; I create similar objects between these two points, with the same distance between them I attach the screenshots that I want In the last screenshot, the distance between the circles should be the same Yhank you so much for your attention! PS I found an example of how to do this through the creation of a brush, but how to set the same distance along a certain tra
Optische Ausrichtung
A first workaround: Copy the object to the clipboard, use the text on path tool, paste the object from clipboard, use spaces or objects without color for the space between the objects. This is probably the best we can do, but it’s very much a workaround! It doesn’t produce regular spacing in the OP’s scenario where there are straight lines joined by curved corners. The function "Baseline" (Set path text baseline offset) from the Context Toolbar was decisive. I had lost track of my experiments. G13RL
With a font, spaces are not necessary, just set "Tracking". Alfred

G13RL
Using objects instead of a font, the baseline is not adjustable, unless I miss something.

G13RL
@Optische Ausrichtung, thanks for the clarification, I hadn't thought about the contextual bar!
PixelPest
Nope - pasted inline don´t move unless you use "Pinning". which is just available per object.
G13RL
However, objects pasted on a line behave as a single object.
