pvmarsh Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 It's great that Affinity Photo will already open and process GFX50SII files, but it seems to leave a blank band on the shorter side. Can this be tweaked in a future update? Quote
Dan C Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Hi @pvmarsh, Welcome to the Affinity Forums As can be seen from the following link, the GFX50SII is not currently officially supported within Affinity, which is likely causing the issue you're seeing as it won't be applying lens correction etc - If possible, could you please attach a copy of one of your RAW files so I can look into this further? Thanks in advance! Quote
pvmarsh Posted September 27, 2021 Author Posted September 27, 2021 Hi, Here's a GFX50SII raw file, as requested. DSCF0067.RAF Quote
Dan C Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Many thanks for the file provided, I can certainly see the issue you're referring to! (and what a cute cat, I must say 😸) Unfortunately this does appear to be occurring due to lack of official support for this camera model, as it appears as though lens correction is embedded for both this model and the previous GFX 50S - as I was going to attempt to apply the GFX 50S lens profile to the image, but this unfortunately cannot be done. Therefore I will inform our developers of this, to see if we can resolve this issue before implement 'official' full support for this model. I hope this helps Quote
