jqa1191
I currently have a bunch of fonts from Adobe that are not showing up in Affinity Designer. Is there another step I need to do for me to finally use them in Designer? I can see them in DaVinci Resolve so the fonts are recognized from other non-adobe programs, just not Affinity. Thanks! GarryP
Welcome to the forums @jqa1191 If you can expand upon what you mean by “a bunch of fonts” we might be able to help you further. If you can give us some example font names, that would be a big help. Otherwise we can only guess.
lacerto
If you refer to online fonts activated as part of a CC plan, they should be available to all apps installed on the system. Could it be that you have a third party font manager that activates the fonts for apps supported by the font manager but not for other apps? In earlier versions (with installable physical fonts) the fonts that came with Adobe apps (e.g. Adobe Caslon Pro, Adobe Garamond Pro, Adobe Jenson Pro, Myriad Pro, etc,) might be installed in specific locations accessible to apps that support direct loading of font resources from files (this is not supported in Affinity apps), so this might explain the problem, as well. jqa1191
Hi guys, thanks for your replies! I actually had to reinstall all the Adobe fonts, just for non-adobe programs in the Creative Cloud app. It threw me off because they were available in other non-adobe programs except Designer. Anyways, all the fonts from the Adobe CC are currently in my Affinity Designer program
