Trevor_b Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Hi there, When I use File Open in Affinity Photo on my PC, the Windows option allows me to change the icon/image size on the screen before selecting a phot to edit. When I do the same on my Mac, the images are quite small and there does not appear to be the same option to increase the size on the Mac, as offered on the PC. Any suggestions would be welcome. This seems to be a limitation of the standard macOS Open File window. At least all the apps I have checked that use the standard do not provide any way to change the icon size. I am using macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina) so I don't know if that has changed in later OS versions, though. As a semi-satisfactory workaround I use the Quick Look feature (tapping the spacebar) to pop open a large preview of the selected file, & with that preview open, I can switch among the different files using the cursor keys. This actually works best for me if I keep the Open File window set to the list view. Trevor_b Posted September 27, 2021 Author Posted September 27, 2021 Hi R C-R, Thanks for the suggestion. It is not 'perfect' but it is a good work around. Much appreciated. Quote
