Hi.  I have to create a lot of individual text boxes and I want to put a corner on them (.12cm).  At the moment I am creating a rectangle with the corners and then dropping a text box onto that which is taking up time.   I saw a post that said I could create the rectangle and then convert it to a text box.  That seemed to work but when I add the text, it is appearing differently.

In the attached image, the top is the separate rectangles with a tercet box dropped on top, whilst the lower is a rectangle converted to a text box with the text directly inserted and the font is displaying differently.

Have I done something wrong, or not done something; or is what I am trying to do not possible.

Thanks

In the lower example the text has a stroke applied. Can’t you simply remove that stroke, either by editing the text style or (if you’ve used direct formatting) by changing the stroke weight/colour of the selected text?

Thanks for the response.

Both of the texts are selected from the same Text Style details: Font: Bree Serif; Font weight: Normal; Italic: Off; Font width: Normal; Font size: 20 pt; Character spacing: 0 ‰; Baseline advance: -12 pt; Character fill: R:124 G:47 B:0; Character outline: none; Align paragraph: Centre; Leading mode: % ideal; Use larger of space before and after; Leading: 100 %; Space before: 10 pt; Space after: 25 pt

However, I got to the bottom of the issue - user error as expected.  For some reason I had managed to copy and paste the text box on top of each other !! Duh!!!
