freezing on tasks with brushes

Last days I face several freezing from Photo by tasks with brushes. Only by taskmanager I can stop it. 
I hope the dump (1.95 gb) can help to find the problem.
I have no OpenCL on.

I have set Photo to working in warp mode, but here the same problems. 
I had this week a studio update driver for the Nvidia 1050Ti gpu maby this can effect under win 11 beta.

Hey Studio97Visuals,

I would avoid working in WARP where possible. By all means keep OpenCL disabled as you will then just be working similarly to before OpenCL was introduced.

Were you brushing on a mask at all?

Chris, thanks for reaction.  no specific on an mask.  I can work on a picture, and then I want to change from tool and all is freezing up. Only thing I can do at that moment is close AP by taskmanager. Mostly I need to click twice before it close at all.

I know I 'am working on Win 11 beta. Also there was a studio driver update version 12, but already before these update it was freezing. So it could win 11 !
I had before already choosen for warp rendering without OpenCL.

It could be Windows 11 like you say. We have only seen Windows 11 on the Windows Insider Program via a VM - we do not have an ISO yet.

You definitely seem to be having some serious issues on a machine that is still very capable...

Yes its a new builded gen 10 system.

My work laptop updated to Windows 11 this morning and for the last hour I've been painting and masking with no issues. Can you give me a bit more info on the type of document you're working on? Such as dpi, resolution, colour mode etc?

Its not a specific document.  I have used jpg, but also develop raw. 
Try the  uploaded image with some tools. 
I have again installed version 1.10.1 clean. First test no problem, but I had that before.  
The image is 72 dpi.  But the same will be happen if I use a 300 dpi image. 
The color mode is mostly Srgb and I use several tools, like paint mixer tool or other brushes

In this video you what happened ater edited a jpg photo and that the used tool is not coming back. Only alt+F4 or taskmanager I can close the programm.

After the leatest post I have change the screen freshing back from 72 hrz to 60 hrz.  Maby there is someting whos block the system at all.?
After closing AP en restart it I can work some time thru  now.
I have upload the output of the tast manager before close Ap after Freezing and a creenshot of the Nvidia settings

I'd be surprised if the refresh rate was anything to do with it, unless G-Sync was doing something funky. 

I've just ran the dmp file you uploaded again but I think my newly upgraded Windows 11 OS is playing up so I need someone to check it on their machine. I'll get back once I've had it checked. It may be worth attaching another dump from Task Manager when the apps is frozen so we can cross reference.

I'm just seeing a generic WindowsBase.dll!System reference - this is Windows and not us and the dmp you initially attached isn't showing me anything, even with all the debug symbols. 

I'll keep working on my Windows 11 Insider build and see what we can do. It may be that we need to wait for the official release before the developers spend time investigating as it may just be a Windows 11 issue that we cannot currently fix.

Hopefully if you get a new dmp for us, we might learn more!

I'm not seeing much at all from that dump file but I think it's referencing some .NET stuff - can you try the .NET repair tool and make sure you've got all the Windows updates?

Thanks Chris, NET repair give me no solution. there is sometings wrong is the result, have logs sended to Microsoft. 
I'am on the leatest  updates. Its' now wait for the final version to morrow.

I have tryed today the beta and I have to say, its working without freezing to now under Windows 11 home.

It looks that the problem under Windows 11 with the 1.10.1.1127  with freezing is a problem if you set the screen refreshing higher than 50 Mhz.
This is on my screen at least.

After some new tests its clear that there is a really problem with 1.10.1. 
I have try direct after this the beta 1.10.2 and found no problems.

I was going to ask if you have Nvidia G-Sync interfering somewhere. You should be able to run at 59/60 hz which is standard for a HD monitor.

I have testet today witch the beta 1.10.2 on 60 hz, and have no found problems.  If I do this with 1.10.1.xxxx then it freeze up.
So I stay for now and use the beta 1.10.2.xxxx
