The0 Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Hi, could anybody enlighten me as to why when I export a pdf, I have one nested heading/page. All the headings have 'Heading 1' applied as a text style yet the last heading or page is nested for some reason. I've explored individual spread properties and text style editing but can't see anything obvious. Screenshot from Mac Preview. Thanks in advance. Quote MacBook Pro 2.9GHz, 16GB, 4GB GPU, macOS 12.
Wosven Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Strange, that doesn't look like headers for a TOC, since those would only be on the first page of each type of item, but like "rubriques" in French, that we put at the top of each page to remind what the page is about. But it doesn't explain the problem. Quote

I've changed the text frame heading on the 'Masks & Neckties' page to 'Accessories' but it still exports as you can see as Masks & Neckties. Obviously there's some lingering original spread info/metadata attached to the page. The screenshot is from Mac's Preview app, not from within Publisher. Wosven Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 For this, you need to open the TOC panel and update it. Quote

The0 Posted September 22, 2021 Author Posted September 22, 2021 Found it, it's the Anchors panel! Thanks for your help. Quote MacBook Pro 2.9GHz, 16GB, 4GB GPU, macOS 12.
Wosven Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 It's not about spread info — and I don't think it's working like this —, but about updating your TOC so it'll include your modifications. Quote
