Magicknees Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 I am able to crash AD w the following steps 1. Open design (included) 2. Select Pixel persona 3. Select paint brush tool 4. Touch paint brush to document AD immediately disappears. From the iPad you can see that the app still seems to be alive/running in the background but when I select it it opens as if I’m opening it from scratch. IOS = 14.8 thanks for your help. john (magicknees) OTM Copy.afdesign Quote
Staff Sean P Posted September 23, 2021 Staff Posted September 23, 2021 Hi Magicknees, Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce this with your file - it is painting fine for me! I suspect it may be related to the Document's History (which isn't saved to the document by default). Would you be able to first try enabled 'Save History' when using Save a copy and attaching that file. Once you've done that if you go into the History Studio, tap the Studio Preferences button in the top right of it (just to the left of the pin icon) and select 'Clear History'. Once that has been cleared does the file stop crashing for you? Quote

Magicknees Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 I’ve also discovered that tools other than paint brush will cause the same crash. Quote
Staff Sean P Posted September 24, 2021 Staff Posted September 24, 2021 Thank you for that! I've reproduced that here and will get it passed on to development. Glad the Clear History workaround has done the trick on getting you going again! Quote
