kboone
I've noticed that if I move a mask (and the accompanying background layer), I am no longer able to refine it. Am I doing something wrong or is this something to be fixed in the future?
JFisher
Hi kbooneWelcome to the forums :)Are you selecting both the background and the mask? The only way I am able to replicate this is if I have the background selected that has the mask within a group. If I select the mask layer independently I am able to refine the mask. Feel free to PM me a copy of the file you are working with so I can take a closer look :)J
Staff MEB Posted November 18, 2015 Staff Share Posted November 18, 2015 Hi kboone, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) To select a nested mask you must click on its thumbnail in the Layers panel. Then right click on it and select Refine Mask... to edit/refine it. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
