Special shape in Affinity Publisher

Hey guys,

I would like to create this shape in Affinity Publisher.
Do you know about easy way, how to achieve it?

In InDesign, i just created rectangle, added more points in corners, selected them and changed border radius.
Here in Publisher, i have no idea, how to easily do it.

Of course there is an option to make it in Designer, but its more complicated for me.

Which Affinity applications do you have installed?

If you have installed both Publisher and Designer then you can open the document in Publisher, switch to the Designer Persona to use the Designer functionality when you need it – it’s just one button click – and then switch back to the Publisher Persona and continue your work.

Or you can use menu “File → Edit In Designer”, make your shape, and then menu “File → Edit in Publisher”.

If you don’t have Designer installed than you will need to come up with something else.
Boolean operations will probably get you what you want, and someone may give you some advice on how best to do that.

The easy way would be Garry's way, but you can do this with APu also. I bet someone has a more clever solution than me.

Do it in the designer, it is really faster.

And, just for fun, here’s another method in Publisher (or any Affinity application).
Probably not the ‘best’ way, but it works and it’s easy to do.

I was working on a similar compound, but the inability for the app to snap to "inside corners/nodes" of the rounded corners make it a pain without prior calculus!

This is the first time that i am using Affinity software and that fast switching between apps is awesome and i actually didn't know about it.
I will do it in designer as Hans showed me.
