christie62 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Hi: I'm new to Publisher, long time user of InDesign. There is a feature that I use alot that I can't seem to figure out in Affinity. In InDesign you can click in a text block, and hit CTL-Y and get a separate little window that pops up that you can edit the text in. I can't seem to find anything like that in Publisher. I've tried different views and checking the help files. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so how to do it please? Thanks! Quote

There is no feature like this in Affinity Publisher (yet), but you can of course post a feature request in this forum https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/forum/65-feedback-for-affinity-publisher-on-desktop/ christie62 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
GarryP Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 No need for a new feature request as there are plenty already:https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/65736-story-editor-mandatory/https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/145268-features-i-would-need-for-my-workflow-and-would-love-to-see-implemented/https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/89810-missing-text-editor/ etc. etc. Please try a search of the forums before making new threads.
