Hi @kepalakantor,

Can you just try a reset of the app by following the advice below:

Hold down the Windows key and tap the letter R.  This will bring up the run box.  In here type:
%appdata%

Click okay

A Windows explorer window will open showing you some folders.  Open the folder called Affinity, followed by Publisher.  You should now see a folder called 1.0 . Please right click on this and rename it Old Settings.

Now start up Affinity and try using the app and let me know the results.

Still yielding the same outcome.

Incidentally my Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo are also not responding now.

Very odd.

Is it as soon as you start the apps they go to Not Responding or do you get chance to start/open a document before that happens?  I doubt it will be related to openCL but its worth just going into Preferences for Affinity and on the Performance section, there is an option for openCL, please untick this, restart Publisher and see if the same happens.

Its the same. Cant even create new docs

Can you see if you have anything in the crash reports folder for the same time you last open Publisher?  To find the crash report folder, see this link and then attach the report here.

I came here today to get help because Publisher wouldn't create a new doc or open any after last use Saturday, 9/18/21. I reinstalled/repaired it to no effect. This is  on my desktop/ Win10. Strangely, it's still working fine on my laptop. For the past few days, I've been taking a course on my laptop and following along on my desktop.

Because of this problem today, I decided to compare the Task Managers of both devices by just opening the APub programs, closing the splash screens and not trying to open a new doc. Only difference I could see in Task Mgr was that the Memory% for AP on my desktop was twice that of on my laptop, over 700MB compared to over 300MB APub memory usage on the laptop.

Decided to restart my desktop and now I can open a new doc/old doc and all seems to be ok. I closed the app and restarted to be sure. It seems to be working just fine now. 🤔

Finally today my Affinity Apps (Publisher/Designer/Photo) IS RESPONDING.

I realised that the problem started when I attached and additional monitor using using the HDMI port. When I detach the second monitor the Apps work perfectly.

Interesting, as i know a few users who use a second monitor with the Affinity apps without any issues.

I take it your graphics card drivers are fully update to date?  Might be worth trying a reinstall of the graphics card drivers and see if the problem returns.  Also which graphics card do you have in your PC and i'll see if we have the same one we can do a test with :)

Something that the QA team have just asked, could you post a screenshot of your Colour Management settings for the 2nd screen?  Also if you change the Colour Profile for the 2nd monitor to a standard sRGB one, does Affinity then work correctly?
