mlostek
Awesome work!!! but would it be possible to export the icons with the area around the borders being fully transparent? (then you could use this for android icons too!)
mlostek
I am having some artifacts around the border.

mlostek
How did you create that document. I am trying somethign similar now, but i dont know how you created the embedded layer that has to be double clicked and is referenced multiple times with different scaling. Can you tell me how you - created that embedded layer - are referencing that embedded layer Thanks!

davidbjames
This is a great help. Thank you. Questions: - The icon sizes and names are not that same as those recommended for universal apps per https://developer.apple.com/library/content/qa/qa1686/_index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS40009882-CH1-ICONS_FOR_UNIVERSAL_APPS What is the reason for this? - What is the most efficient way to export the icons? I noticed in Export persona the Slices palette has "Batch builder" and "Export presets". I'm not sure how to use these or if I should. Thanks. I noticed in Export persona the Slices palette has "Batch builder" and "Export presets". I'm not sure how to use these or if I should. Thanks. To answer my own questions. - Re: Icon Sizes: Never mind. They are good. In general, for these I would reference the Asset Catalog "AppIcon" sizes in Xcode instead of any online references as these may go out of date (as the above one did for iPad Pro..). - Re: Icon Names: This does not matter so much. Names can be arbitrary, and I think @RoadkilleR78's names are fine (using the point size) as it makes it easy to drag them into the correct icon "wells" in Xcode - Re: Exporting. In Export Persona > Slices palette, select slices (checkmarks) and at the bottom of the palette select "Export Slices" and save to the Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset folder. (Ignore "Batch Builder" in the Slices palette.) Then return to Xcode Asset Catalog and make sure these icons are dragged into the correct icon "well". One other tip for exporting. Make sure the names of the slices include the "@2x", "@3x" etc, and slice scaling remains at "1x".
