Starting perspective tool in source mode by default?

Is it possible to set up Affinity Photo to start the Perspective Tool in Source Mode by Default, instead of having to manually switch it from Destination to Source each and every time?

Welcome to the Affinity Forums

I can confirm that unfortunately it's not possible currently to change the default for this tool, it will always begin in the Destination mode.

I'll be sure to move this thread to the Feedback section of our forums, for our devs to see and consider adding this option in a future update - I hope this helps!

Making that setting stick is unlikely to help in this case.  In general you will want to use Source mode first, then use Destination mode whenever using this tool.

You would finish on Destination mode so if that were to "stick" you would generally be right back where it currently starts anyway.
