Hi @AndreasO,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble! Can you please expand on this for me? Do you not see the relevant options on Chrome to create a new topic/reply - or are you able to open the text editor and write your reply, but then you cannot 'submit' this?

Are you seeing any error messages within Chrome? As this hasn't been reported here previously, the more information you can provide, the easier it will be for me to assist :)

It also happens randomly for few days in Firefox, without any logic — no update, no added plugin...

I use Google chrome until the bug disappear (opening the pages I want to post in.)

(Win7, Firefox standard)

I couldn't find anything about this and Firefox. And never thought to check the forum's version.

Firefox on Windows has been just fine in this area.

It's more interesting than just being unable to have a text area and a cursor where you should usually write.

Do you have crash reports? In Firefox you can check them and decide or not to send them to Mozilla, but I'm not sure how Google manage them.

As soon as I try to write anything (i.e. what I am doing now), the Chrome page crashes with error code 10. Tested with both version 92 and 93.

Thanks for letting me know! I've not personally heard of this error code happening previously on any site, however having done a cursory Google search I assume this to be a 'runtime error, code 10' - is that correct?

If so, this would indicate an issue with your Chrome installation, rather than the Affinity site itself. There are multiple suggestions I have found to attempt to resolve this issue at the below links -

https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/2147118/is-there-a-fix-for-chrome-error-code-10-on-mac?hl=en

Please do let me know if this helps :)

Thanks for the info, that's certainly strange and again not something I've heard being reported previously!
I've passed this information through to our team internally to try and replicate this setup and see if this is something we can experience, and we'll be sure to report this through to InVision (the forum provider) if this is something we can replicate here :)

Thanks @Dan C

I suspect it's why I stopped using Firefox Nightly (I've always some tabs opened on the forum), but it happened also in the regular version. I couldn't find any logical reason for this, there's only sometimes the warning about "a script on this page (All activity) is slowing down Firefox. Do you want to disable it" (I don't).
