Didge Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 IF I try to stack a single image, AP displays this message :- 'Stacking Failed. The images could not be aligned'. AP should give a more meaningful message - 'Need to select more than 1 image' etc. Gary Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 20, 2021 Staff Posted September 20, 2021 Hi @Gary.JONES, What image type are you trying to stack? I'm not able to reproduce this... Can you expand a little please? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Didge Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Sure, If I go to 'New Astrophotography Stack, select 'Add Files', then select a single FITs file, then 'Stack' I get that error message. I hope that helps Gary Quote
walt.farrell Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 It might have helped if you'd said "astrophotography stack" earlier, rather than just "stack". Didge Posted September 21, 2021 Author Posted September 21, 2021 Yes, I suppose it would. It's clear enough now I hope. Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 21, 2021 Staff Posted September 21, 2021 Hi @Gary.JONES, I have tried both the first time and both are working fine for me. See below. Maybe I'm missing something. Have you tried with a different file? Does it give you the same error? Can you attach the FITs file that's giving you trouble please? Thank you. fits_file.mp4 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Didge Posted September 22, 2021 Author Posted September 22, 2021 Hi MEB, Many thanks for your quick reply ... I tested this several times and AP behaved consistently, giving that error message. Unfortunately I cant reproduce it now - the only things thats changed on my system it that Ive been running the new v1.10.2 260 beta, otherwise Im sorry I cant explain it. One of those things Gary Quote
Staff MEB Posted September 22, 2021 Staff Posted September 22, 2021 No worries Gary. I'm glad it's working fine for you now. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
