Staff MEB Posted September 17, 2021 Staff Posted September 17, 2021 Hi @globso, Welcome to Affinity Forums If they appear all untitled it's because you haven't saved them yet. Go to menu File > Save and give them a name then they will be identified by their names on the document tabs. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
globso Posted September 17, 2021 Author Posted September 17, 2021 aha, yes that was me being stuped, i have searched everywhere for place to change name. i thought the grey bar in the middle top of the screen would be a great place just to write a title. but sure, saving and naming it in that order is the way to do it. thanks! But that is not what you asked about. Your reply has saved me from embarrassing myself. Not at all, I understand where are you coming from/why you tried to do that - there's other native mac apps where you can do it but Affinity apps don't support this. 😞 Quote
Nashorn Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 "but affinity apps don't support this." I find that very regrettable! If I have to back up first, then I have to see afterwards how I delete unsuccessful attempts so that the memory is not full. I am currently creating book covers as templates in the publisher, which only differ by 1 mm in the width of the spine. I don't even see the difference when I look closely, because the ruler doesn't have a metric scale. Quote

Metric as in mm and cm and Metres?
