aha, yes that was me being stuped, i have searched everywhere for place to change name. i thought the grey bar in the middle top of the screen would be a great place just to write a title. but sure, saving and naming it in that order is the way to do it. thanks!

I wrote a long piece detailing how to go about naming Layers and creating Artboards and naming them and was just about to post it, full of wrong and useless information.... But that is not what you asked about. Your reply has saved me from embarrassing myself. Oops, I shouldn't have posted this.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Not at all, I understand where are you coming from/why you tried to do that - there's other native mac apps where you can do it but Affinity apps don't support this.

I find that very regrettable! If I have to back up first, then I have to see afterwards how I delete unsuccessful attempts so that the memory is not full.

I am currently creating book covers as templates in the publisher, which only differ by 1 mm in the width of the spine. I don't even see the difference when I look closely, because the ruler doesn't have a metric scale.

Metric as in mm and cm and Metres? Use the Control + Click on the ruler origin
