John Rostron Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Hello @willmac, and welcome to theforums. I think you need to give us some more information. I am guessing you are using Photo. Is this so? You say "every time I drag a photo". From where? To where? What is the picture that it does not adjust to, and what do you mean by 'adjust to'? iconoclast Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 Hi willmac! As far as I understand, you import images per drag & drop to a document, and your problem is that they don't appear aligned to the document. This is, as far as I experienced, normal behaviour in Affinity Photo. To align the inserted image to the document, use the Alignment Buttons in the context menu of the Move Tool. You can even take care that you drag & drop the images to the top left corner of your document. Quote

That will align the image to various positions in the document but will not resize it to the document dimensions, if that is what the OP means by "adjust to the picture." OTOH, if by "drag a photo over it" the OP means dragging a photo over an empty AP workspace window (one with no open document in it), then the new document should automatically be sized to that of the photo.
