More fun with half-toning

Hats off to you, style nailed.

Ive tried half-toning and it end up p@@ing me off, so many, many vector paths, makes it really hard to find items to edit and move - Unless I'm missing some magic tips of course ;)

Edit: Affinity... halftoning would be fantastic addition to the effects pallet

@David, no magic bullet here, just keep your textures on separate layers and lock them when not in use. Otherwise yeah, you end up selecting all the little circles by accident.

I've just spotted David Tavares' famous bitten pear, in your show reel (mirrored) from the lamented Linux Pear OS, were you a user of it? I was!Pear-OS-Is-Making-a-Comeback-Rumor-46867

Looks like George has too...

Really? Dan, there's nowt wrong with your sense of humour.

Great minds think alike. A payday loans company also displayed the pear, on an alien's laptop, in its TV ad a while back...

This was a real OS. I got it on a cover disc a few years ago and this is how I ended up migrating to Mac OS X. Considering how this can be run on an old PC, from a CD, No hard drive needed, and within 5 or so minutes, you could surf the web. Yes, it had its faults, codecs etc and a restrictive app store/ list, no Serif or Affinity here. :( Just the likes of GIMP.

Distrowatch.com lists all Linux distros and sends you to source forge to down load them.

RIP Pear/Comice.

Yikes. Too much tinkering for me. Mind you, I've never owned a Windows PC – if I did, I'd probably be tempted to overwrite the OS as well – I tried W8 once and it gave me a migraine.

As a migraine sufferer: Thursdays, 2pm, two years apart, fluorescent tubes to blame and absolute hater of the notorious dotnetframework cockup; I am with you.

However I love Win 2000/XP, despite the install/shut down/update/install/restart farce. Why? Split screens, the one new arrival in the new OS, El Capitain.

Try Pear OS, it's less a Mac OS X clone and more of a Beta. If it wasn't for Pear/Comice I wouldn't be here, period.

(I can send you the iso file, if you wish, you should also speak to pixlgirl for more info about LInux.)

Comice was the French name for that elegant OS.

As for Monty Python, am I the only one who thinks this...Always listen to (Pink Floyd) the Dark side of the Moon!? We're off, we're off with Mr Spoon. Who was in a programme called Button Moon.

Message to (my)self: get out more!
