Radioerewan
Polish hyphenation from Libre Office is not working on my system. It is selectable, but hyphenation happens only when default hyphenation algorithms selected (even latin). I am attaching also screenshot from my user/library/Spelling directory. I have put all files from Libre ofiice. Single hyph_pl_PL.dic was not working too.I have done restarts, reboots, nothing changed. Started thinking about moving Spelling dir to common Library folder, but I think if it is detected, it should work with user too. I have followed this advice installing hyphenation dict. https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Text/hyphenationInstalling.html?title=Installing hyphenation dictionaries
Staff Pauls Posted September 17, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 17, 2021 apart from double checking that hypenation has been specified for the paragraphs you expect to hypenate can you please upload the whole dictionary folder you are using
Radioerewan
I checked it multiple times, hyphenation was selected (with all different methods you can imagine). Attaching dictionary pl_PL folder. Regards pl_PL.zip
Staff Pauls Posted September 17, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 17, 2021 I think there is definitely something up - I've logged an issue for further investigation

You have to follow the download instructions and get the raw files. But even using the correct format files ... I could not get it to work on some random Polish text I got from the internet. Redownloaded whole archive from Github and replaced hyph_pl_PL.dic and it is working OK. Problem solved. Sorry. But they are not supposed to be HTML, and if you download incorrectly you get HTML instead of plain text.
