Photo and Designer on iPad os menu?

Recommended Posts

If they don’t appear on the share sheet you can create shortcuts via the Shortcuts app:

Thank you Alfred.  I see what my problem is, I am not showing a "Documents" icon when I try to do this.  Very strange.  I only get these 4 options: Apps, Scripting, Favorites, and media.

After that, I must be missing something that actually saves the shortcut, but I can't figure out what.

I haven’t encountered the need to do anything explicitly. When I go back to ‘All Shortcuts’ the new one is there at the top of the list.

@walt.farrell,
Tap the circle with the ellipsis in center of the interface (on top), give the shortcut a name, tap done in that dialog and simply go back tapping the My Shortcuts link on the top left of the interface to return to the main screen. Your new shortcut should be there with the name you gave it.

@Alfred and @MEB: Thanks. I hadn't thought of simply going back to the main shortcuts page; I was looking for some explicit "save" action of some kind, and getting confused when I couldn't find one.

Ok, figured it out. Only thing is, it does not open RAW photos into the develop persona. You can then select the persona, but the image looks already processed, very different to opening the app first add then opening a RAW file. But still great for non RAW, so much appreciated!

Good to hear, but (as above!) what was the solution?

From memory I simply used the edit option on Share sheet to add Photo and Designer from Documents. Raw files open in Raw Mode for me.

Just tap the 3 dots at side of page next to the file name and select Share. Tap edit if you need to add Photo to Share Sheet.

Works in Files app too.
