satchmo
I've masked a group of 3 objects with one larger clipping path by dragging over and to the right in the layers panel. But it doesn't seem to allow me to fill the clipping path with any colour. This is all in the vector mode, so I would assume it's possible. Old Bruce
That 'one larger clipping path' is a clipping path, by its nature it has no colour. You can duplicated it and put the duplicate in the group and colour that duplicate there. satchmo 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. telemax
I assume you need a clipping, not a mask. Every time I drag the layer, I don't seem to get the same blue highlight on the bottom as you did? Okay, I figured it out. For some strange reason, I had to duplicate the layer and it worked. Maybe it's a bug...but one shouldn't have to. Clipping groups is also not possible and had to clip each one separately. Thanks to all.
