Where are all the icons to use in affinity photo?

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Affinity forums @angiephotography2020!

Once installed you get only the default tools enabled, but you can change that by visiting the menu View >> Customise Tools. Just drag the wanted tools to the toolbar and close the dialogue.

The default toolset will be different in all the different Personas. Make sure you are in the same persona as the professor

Also make sure the professor is using the same Affinity program as you and not Designer or Publisher

If you still have problems post a screenshot of the professor's tools and notify us what tool you are missing

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Also look for Tool icons in the Tools panel with small triangles in their lower right corner. This indicates the icon is actually a tool group, with two or more tools sharing the same position in the panel. To change to a different one, either click on the triangle or click & hold on the tool icon. A small pop out will appear with the other tools in the group.
