Sweatman
In trying to get organic looking lines I'm using the vector brush "Classic Pencil 2B". Which looks amazing, but it has this corner issue that I can't resolve (image below). I even tried breaking the corner which kinda works, but it's a very awkward solution. In short, I'd like the stroke to go ALL the way around my vector path. Thx in advance!
telemax
This is the margins in the brush texture. I marked it in green. Some other brushes, don't have this margins, or they are minimal. Sweatman
Tried that. And tried again (per below). No bueno. Plus, adjusting the Head/Tail offset compromises the texture I'd like to keep. Many thanks, tho.
telemax
Brushes without margins, also give artifact in one of the corners. I tried to avoid it this way: Corner.mp4 Quote Non-destructive Mask https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/150439-non-destructive-mask/Image layer & Pixel layer https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/146720-image-layer-and-pixel-layer/Brushes | Stars https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/135202-brushes-stars/
telemax
Moving the red dashed lines won't do anything, they are meant to define the inner repeating part of the texture. Earlier I marked the margins in green. If these margins are in the brush texture, you can't change them. PixelPest
This is the start/end node causing the issue. I´d simply introduce a new node along an edge: then hit "Break Curve/Close Curve" instantly. telemax

I´d simply introduce a new node along an edge: then hit "Break Curve/Close Curve" instantly. How does that help? When I try it, it just results in the gap being moved to the newly closed node. The closest I can come to getting the stroke to look like it goes all the way around is to leave the curve open & adjust the two start/end nodes so there is an overlap to fill in the gap, something like this: 2B pencil.afdesign Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.1 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.

telemax
"Classic Pencil 2B" will always show a tear in one of the corners. You can't avoid this, because the texture of this brush, has margins. You will have to use a different brush. It does not look like the "Classic Pencil 2B" or any other brush that has the margins @telemax wrote about.
