Recommended Posts

Hello,

How would you guys make these photos transparent, with the outlines like the palm tree photo?

In this specific case, use the pen tool to recreate the shapes. There is no easy way in Photo to do this automatically. Especially if you need the inner lines with defined stroke

You could try to find a specific recipe for every single icon, but this is more effort vs simply draw them new.

Hi @LuccasGreco :)

As mentioned by other forum users, we unfortunately cannot have copyrighted images on the Affinity Forums - therefore I have replaced the images used with the stock 'sample' images that are provided on the relevant websites, alongside a link to each to credit the artists.

In regards to the question at hand, it sounds as though you're looking for a 'Vector Trace' option, to convert a Pixel image into Vector outlines. Unfortunately Affinity doesn't currently support a Vector Trace option within the apps, my apologies.

This is certainly something we plan to add in the future, although we have no timescale for this currently. I have included a link below to another thread where this topic (and alternatives) are discussed.

I hope this helps!
