Affinity Designer will not save

I have been working on a few projects later, but Affinity Designer won't let me save any new files. If I change something in an existing file, I am able to save it. But anything that needs a popup from the app fails. I cannot ''save'', ''save as'' ''export'' (in any way, not just from the files tab but also in export persona. I really really need this function, does anyone know how to fix this issue?

I've never seen this issue. So to start with could you..

Do you have other Affinity Apps, Photo or Publisher? IF so do you experience the same in them? Has this happened in any other apps for you?

Affinity Photo 2.3..; Affinity Designer 2.3..; Affinity Publisher 2.3..; Affinity2 Beta versions. Hi, so to start I do not use any other Affinity apps, and I did not encounter the issue in any other apps / settings. Looks like the popup is blocking, but only in Affinity Designer.  I attached the system information. Thank you for the help so far!

Thank you for the welcome!
I am using 1.10.1, so I think that is not the issue. However the 1.10.2 update doesn't show up anywhere, so it looks like my laptop is a bit behind. Is there a probability that the issue wasn't resolved yet in the 1.10.1?

1.10.2 is only available as a beta test at this point, and only for Publisher right now, so if you have 1.10.1 you're up-to-date.

Not sure what popup you are referring to here?
Could you perhaps post some screenshots or better a screen recording of what is happening, preferably showing the whole screen?
Where are you trying to save too? Locally or to some other form of connected drive?
Which macOS version are you on?
With odd, user specific problems like this, the devil usually will be in the details.

Out of interest have you tried reinstalling the app at all to see if that quick fixes this issue?
