When I import an eps graphic the shapes have a visible outline, how to avoid that

When importing eps files shapes have a visible outline, how can I avoid that

Welcome to the forums

It's hard to give accurate advice without seeing the outline in question however there is no way to avoid this on import you will have to remove them manually. If these are objects with strokes applied you should be able to select them and then set the stroke colour to transparent. It may be worth checking these outlines aren't in fact snapping indicators please go to the snapping menu and make sure show snapping candidates isn't ticked.
