Windows 10

Clean & up-to-date

I don't know why it keeps crashing, but it does.

I won't go into detail because everyone seems to have already said it.

What I did do was locate a report that seems to have a lot more information than anything I've read about in the forum.

I hope this helps.

Hey rchaisse,

We ideally need the full crash report which can be found here:

Affinity Store version - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0\CrashReports\reports

Microsoft Store version - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Store)\CrashReports\reports

You can access the AppData folder by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard and then just type %AppData%

Can you provide some info on the PC such as the graphics card and currently installed driver? You can try disabling OpenCL from Preferences > Performance for now to see if this helps.

Also, I didn't mention.. this is version 1.10.1

Well, I figured out what's going on. 😀

I have (2) Pc's running and I'm using a KVM switch to provide Keyboard & mouse for either PC when I need to work on the other one ( PC # 2).

It's this  Action of toggling  back from PC # 2 to return to working on PC #1 and the Affinity Photo software.

Apparently, the software doesn't like being without the Keyboard & mouse.

I think this could be an issue with the drivers somehow reconnecting with the software.

I have had zero crashes since I stopped toggling the KVM switch.

This may be a warning to other people having crashing problems.

Could their issue be related to something involving drivers changing state?

Hope this helps.
