Whisperbllue
Lost full days work. Backed off to prior 1.10.1 update still not saving and then margins didn't show, other view problems. This morning I reinstalled 1.9.2 and so far it is saving and options to view seem to work.
Staff stokerg Posted September 9, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 9, 2021 Hi @Whisperbllue and Welcome to the Forums, Can you give me some more information on the saving issue? There was a saving issues in 1.10 which was resolved by the 1.10.1 update, so that should no longer be an issue. Do you have a sample document you can share that doesn't show the margins? Also which operating system are you running Affinity on?
Whisperbllue
OK, one of "those things." I was using 1.10.1 tried for 2 days and found the problem was Publisher not Windows 10 backup (nothing to back up), etc. then went back to 1.9 after rebooting multiple times trying other files; using safe mode; reinstalling twice running every cleaner I could on the system. I have to think now that since I live where the electricity has been unstable that something happened to my system or drive. Sorry. I have not tried 1.10.1 again until just now. Thank you. Whisperbllue
One last thing, the only thing I can come up with because they problem was not affecting others and I had been having electrical problems from storms is that the problem originated with the Affinity software that reports crashes.
