Crash reports are missing since I updated to Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.2

Recommended Posts

This is weird, I have had a few crashes with Photo and Publisher but no crash log or crash report is generated since I updated to Big Sur 11.5.2

I am using a separate User account, not as an administrator, as I have done since Apple switched to OS X back in the day. Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 11.7.1
Affinity Designer 2.0.0 | Affinity Photo 2.0.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.0.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I have the same problem as Old Bruce. Affinity crashed c. 1625 (5 mins ago) as in the Affinity working window for the file I was working on disappeared from the desktop and is not hidden in the Dock. No crash report appeared on the monitor so I checked Console. There was nothing under Crash Report or Error reports. I screenshotted the relevant portion of the system.log, attached below.

Despite the loss of the working window Affinity is still running. I'm quitting out and restarting the mac mini (OS11.5.2)

Just an update to say that I have had crashes with all three applications plus the Publisher Beta and not once has there been a crash report.
