Pierce Marengo
When I'm designing, I notice items just disappearing, and coming back and fourth as I zoom in and out. This makes it hard to compare designs. I see it happening a lot of the time with masks. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Edit: It does it with or without the masks. Staff MEB Posted September 1, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 1, 2021 Hi @Pierce Marengo, Welcome to Affinity Forums I suspect these issues may be related with hardware acceleration. Please try the following: go to Affinity Photo Preferences, Performance section an untick Enable Metal compute acceleration. Re-start the app, open the file and check if you are experiencing the same issues. Can you attach a screen capture of your mac specs please (menu File > About This Mac)? Keep the serial number out of the screenshot or hide it. If you could share one of the files behaving as shown in the clips it would also help. I can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private. Just let me know.
