Dietmar
Affinity Designer 1.10.1 'unexpectedly quits' every time I try to export to pdf, on my Mac with OS 10.12.6. The other Export I do, to eps, seems to work fine.
Hangman
Hi Dietmar, Are you able to upload the Affinity Designer file that is causing the issue so we can take a look and try and figure out what is causing the problem? Dietmar
Thanks for your reply. I think it happens with all my current files. Here's one. Multi-01A.afdesign
Wosven
Hi @Dietmar, I don't have any problem exporting your file as PDF, but I don't have all the fonts either. Can you test with different ones, to check if one is the problem? SPaceBar
Dietmar
Wow! It never occurred to me that this could be an issue - but it is! I've just tried removing the font OCRB and -hey presto- the file now Exports as a pdf. Thanks for your brilliant suggestion. SPaceBar
Hi @Dietmar I've just tried this on my own iMac with macOS 10.12.6 on both Designer 1.10.0 and 1.10.1 using OCRB, it was slow to export but it managed to do it. It might be worth uninstalling the font and downloading it again from a different source to see if the works better.
Dietmar
Thank you, that sounds like a good idea, though my solution for now is to avoid the font - I'd only used it for numbering each 'page' I was producing so it didn't play a prominent role.
