ericosmosNEW
I have a text frame with 3 columns in Publisher. In a layer below I have a gradient. I would like the columns to have a background color (like colored rectangles behind the column text) AND I want to have space between the columns so the background comes through. I tried the stroke between columns feature, but a want it to be transparent not a color Is there any other way to achieve this?
Wosven
Instead, try to give a color to the background of your paragraphs with the decoration option.

ericosmosNEW
@Wosven ah, perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. thank you. @Komatös yes, just with some more space between column edges and text. Wosven's suggestion worked perfectly Komatös
