bafegles
This update is failing every time I try it. I've downloaded it twice and making sure the software is closed when I click on it. I keep getting the Setup Failed message.
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @bafegles. Such problems are often due to Windows issues either with permissions or with updates that are already in progress. So, first, try restarting Windows. Next, right-slick on the installer and choose Run as Administrator. If it still fails, then there are other suggestions in the FAQ article below. You can try them, or jump to examining the SetupUI.log file, or uploading it here for us to examine. Rick G
The reboot will probably solve it but if not, go into the program folder and delete the Publisher folder (ok ok rename it for the time being) 😄 THEN run the installer and it will work. Your customizations will still be there but I am not sure of your store purchases which can easily be downloaded again I had this issue for a long time Quote Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
