KipV
I just tried Pixelmator on one of those machines in an Apple store I was surprised to find it actually preformed ok so it made me wonder how well Affinity would do. I am sure it would have to be one of the only apps running to work given that it only has 8gb ram and 1.2Mhz dual core processor. I thought that I might be able to do some light work on one of these machines along with word processing, email, etc. Quote New Internet Book Project | Another New Website Project
KipV
I just bought one of the new MacBooks and Affinity works great! In fact canvas rotation works MUCH better. I still don't get smooth 360º canvas rotation on my other computer with my Wacom Tablet. So far only Apple's track pad gives me that. Brian D
Thanks for this. I was going to ask had anybody tried it. Contemplating jumping from my 15" to one of the new 12" models. Can I ask, what kind of work are you doing? Mostly vector design work, or photography too?
KipV
With Affinity I mainly do vector. My photography setup with is mostly with Lightroom since I need the cataloging and batch processing features. KipV
By the way I should mention that this isn't my primary machine. I am not trying to do all my work on my MacBook. I am sure there is some heavy duty graphics work that would bring it to it's knees.
