fatfreemedia
Today I was trying to open two old Publisher files in the latest version (1.10.1) and it crashes immediately. Attaching files for review. This had happened to me in the past on another version of Publisher and I remember it having something to do with pinned graphics but I don't believe I have any pinned graphics in this simple 2-page document. MikeTO
While you're waiting for an answer, I resaved these from 1.10.1 for you since I was able to open them on my computer. Staff Gabe Posted August 27, 2021 Staff Share Posted August 27, 2021 Hi @fatfreemedia, I can't replicate the crash either. I wonder if it's fonts/resources related. Can you replicate the crash with MikeTo's files?

Can you replicate the crash with MikeTo's files? I am able to open MikeTo's file w/o issue -- THANK YOU MIKE! I relinked the assets via Resource Manager, resaved, and it appears I can reopen everything w/o it crashing. I would still love to have a clue on why it's crashing from my original files since no assets have changed location or otherwise. fatfreemedia
FWIW, I'm attaching the crash report from my Mac on the original files if this helps diagnose any issues. Process: Affinity Publisher [8444].txt
