Hello everyone,

Im new to Affinity publisher but ill try to be as clear as I can in explaining my problem.

Im using the "Frame text tool" and type in some text in the selected square. So far, so good. The problem begins when I go back to edit the text afterwards. Then I can only select and move the frame, but not edit the text in it.

What am I doing wrong?

FYI

Im using a pre-made template, so Im not sure whats been done before my editing of the page.

Hope you can point me in the right direction!

The same problem occurs when using "Filler Text". To make the text editable, right click on it and choose "Expand Field", the text will then be editable.

Filler text is different: it’s designed to expand or contract automatically when you resize the frame, so that the frame remains completely filled with no overflow. The ‘Expand Field’ command turns it into ordinary editable text.
