In the above mentioned topic there is also a paragraph about Capture One. C1 serves as my RAW editor.

After reading the comments about C1 (also the linked post in the C1 forum), it's not clear for me whether the issue described in this paragraph is actually relevant for the use of Affinity products. It looks to me like it's only impacting C1 and Windows Explorer. Personally, I've never encountered the described issue, since I don't use the Explorer integration in C1 at all. But the info is confusing because apparently also Nvidia might be the culprit here? And with all HW acceleration problems, I'm becoming a bit suspicious...😒

So, it's also not clear whether I should apply the recommendation. Indeed, I don't want to change something that isn't broken for me! Therefore, can somebody with more knowledge about this issue, please shed a light whether there is a real impact for the use of Affinity products in combination with the C1-related info in this post?

Thanks in advance.

When you use File > Open or Save or Export (and some other functions) from the Affinity applications you are using Windows File Explorer. Therefore, yes, issues with C1 and File Explorer can definitely be relevant to us. However, if you personally are not having this problem, then it's probably not relevant to you, right now.
