Blinking\Flashing then becomes Unresponsive the last few times I attempted to use it to do Anything..Newest version..

Flashes in the middle of trying to do anything then freezes up, becomes Completely unresponsive then The entire screen disappears..basicly no matter what Im doing I never Expect to have it in 10mins..this is so much Much more stressful than it Should Be!..Two times during me Typing this , This Screen(THREE times Now!)has Flashed Off!! How BUGGY!  And Horribly Frustrating thats There is NO Cust serv..or assistance (honestly) of any kind...This site is even glichy

Is Hardware Acceleration turned on? This can cause a raft of problems if your graphics drivers are old or incompatible. Try turning it off: Edit >> Preferences >> Performance. 

Also check to see if there is any third-party software or services which might cause a problem. There's a post at the top of the Windows Bug page which lists the offenders.

It sounds like you're saying you even have problems in your web browser? If that's a correct statement, I think your computer has a problem, not Affinity Photo. You might want to Restart Windows.

Also, please check whether you have any third-party software that is known to cause problems:

I also have Photoshop & Corel psp.. neither are doing that..I reached this forum thru a link in the AP software, that Maybe why the screen was doing the same as the software flashing...?Im not really asking for a fix, Im just sharing what its doing now...

Hi @Clearwatrs,

If its Affinity that is flashing or freezing, please try:
Opening Affinity and click Edit>Preferences>Performance and at the bottom of this window is an option for OpenCL, if that's ticked, untick and close Preferences and you'll be asked to restart Affinity.  Once restarted, try using the app again and let me know the results.
