kwgray
Hi I've just tested a couple of JPEGs with clipping paths - originally created in Photoshop. I open them in Affinity Photo, make no changes at all, and save the file. Upon opening them again to check them in Photoshop, the clipping path has been removed. Staff MEB Posted November 12, 2015 Staff Share Posted November 12, 2015 Hi kwgray, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) JPG's don't support clipping paths natively. Photoshop simply stores additional data in the metadata sections of the file to be able to include them, but they are not part of the spec. When you save the file the file in Affinity that data is not preserved.
