Custom Pressure profile keeps reseting to default

I tried to save a custom pressure profile for the pencil tool in vector persona.  It saves the profile but as soon I draw another line it resets to its default persona.  gthe ipad app doesn't do this.  Am I missing something?

With the Pencil Tool selected, in the context toolbar what is "Controller:" set to? Also, are you using a mouse with the desktop app or a pressure-sensitive input device like a graphics drawing tablet?

Heres a video of what Im experiencing.  Controller is set to Pressure. Im using a Wacom Cinitiq.  Video overview:

Please keep in mind that I do not use a drawing tablet with the desktop apps so I cannot confirm this directly, but as I understand it, if you set the controller to pressure & use a pressure-sensitive tablet to draw with, then the amount of pressure you apply to the stylus is the controller, not any custom pressure profile curve you have created.

If instead you want your custom curve to be applied, choose another controller setting like "none" or "brush default."
