issue with dng files from On1 nonoise ai

Recommended Posts

AP 1.10 (windows store edition) on Windows 10
Processing image in on1 nonoise ai as standalone and importing the resulting DNG files in AP
causes images to look overexposed and/or with colorcast all the time.
opening the same DNG files in PS elements 2020 works fine.skimmer_ap.thumb.png.a5500f6e2febaf106060341fbab62cbf.pngskimmer_pse.thumb.png.c72333e92df97da4d34281b5bb535ee1.png

Affinity Photo seems to have a few issues with DNG files. I experience weird color cast when importing DNG files (with bright highlights) created with DXO PureRAW. I was hoping ver 1.10 would have cleared up the problems. Hopefully they will address it soon.

Hi @mjad,

My apologies for the delayed response here!

I can confirm this is a known bug within Affinity, however it had previously been reported when importing DNG files from DxO PureRaw - I'll be sure to update the development log with your report now and we hope to fix this in a future update.

I hope this helps :)

Please Note: I am now out of the office until Tuesday 2nd April on annual leave.

If you require urgent assistance, please create a new thread and a member of our team will be sure to assist asap.

Many thanks :)

The issue "Develop Persona: issues (highlights rendering) with DNG generated by DxO PureRaw/DeepPRIME technology." (REF: AFP-4444) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1781".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
