Has anyone had issues with missing apostrophes when copying and pasting a word document?

Windows 8.

I imported a word doc into Publisher 1.9.2 and stupidly did not realise a number of apostrophes were missing, the strange thing is some were correct., can anyone shed light on this please?

I know there was an issue with spell check not populating could this have been the cause?

I have used the same original word doc to try and replicate my problem but I am now using Publisher 1.10.0.1127 and all punctuation was fine.

I realise I should have proof read before going to print.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks @Wosven

It is most strange as after pasting articles I format in APub, I always use Times New Roman.

I am baffled.

Unless you can recreate it, and share the Word doc with us, it will be very difficult to figure out what's happening.

Thanks Walt,

This is a 44 page magazine so I was going to delete all pages except those containing the article ready to upload with the original.

This has now thrown up another problem.

I deleted all the pages after the article with no problem but, on selecting the pages before the article Publisher decided to ignore my selection and deleted other pages instead including the article.

The Word Doc is the more important part of what we need, in my opinion, not the Publisher document, @John T.

As for Publisher deleting the wrong pages, my initial guess would be that you didn't really have the pages selected. Selecting pages is a bit tricky. You would need to describe (and/or provide a screenshot) showing how you tried to do it for me to be sure, though.

Yes Callum thank you, I have pasted the same document into Publisher and all punctuation is correct.

Still have issues with deleting pages.
